Initial Admin User Registration

Thank you for acquiring the Urbit One Starter Kit.

This kit includes a Quick Registration Reference to activate the initial administrator account required to access the Urbit One Management Center and begin using the Starter Kit.

How to Request Admin User Registration

Scan the QR code

Use the phone or computer email account of the user who will be registered as the Starter Kit administrator.

Send the email to support@urbit.us

The QR code prepares an email addressed to support@urbit.us with the subject: Admin User Registration Request.

Include the Edge Node ID or Serial Number

Fill solicited data including the Edge Node ID or Serial Number in the email body. Find these details printed on the bottom label of the equipment.

Wait for validation and activation

The email will create a support ticket. Once the request is validated and activated, the customer will receive instructions to set a new password and access the Starter Kit.

In the email body, add the Edge Node ID or Serial Number. Optional but recommended: administrator name, administrator email, and company name.

This QR code opens a prepared email request to Urbit Support.

Important:

Send the email from the account of the user who will become the initial administrator.

Find the Edge Node ID or Serial Number on the bottom label of the equipment.

What Happens Next

1. Ticket Created

Your email creates a support ticket.

2. Request Validated

Urbit validates the Starter Kit and admin user request.

3. Account Activated

The administrator account is activated.

4. Access Instructions Sent

The customer receives instructions to set a password and access the kit.
